More NXT Stars Getting Called Up, SummerSlam, Sandow Gives Money To Homeless People

 
– After Bo Dallas and Adam Rose come up to WWE’s main roster, the next NXT stars in line to come up are Sami Zayn and NXT Tag Team Champions The Ascension.

– WWE will be doing more live WWE Network shows from Los Angeles during SummerSlam weekend, similar to how they did with WrestleMania XXX.

– Late at night during WrestleMania week in New Orleans, Damien Sandow was going up to homeless people and handing them all $10 bills. It wasn’t something he was doing for publicity since almost nobody was around.

 

The Wyatt Family Returning to NXT, AJ Lee Talks About The Slammys

– WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee spoke with Tom Philips on the WWE App during last night’s SmackDown and said she should win Diva of the Year at the Slammys because she’d held the title over 174 days. AJ added that if she doesn’t win, the Slammys are fixed.

– The Wyatt Family has been added to the December 9th WWE NXT tapings from Full Sail University. The Miz and The Bella Twins will also be appearing.

News From Rey Mysterio’s Return To The Ring, Billy Gunn Turns On Sami Zayn, Tyler Breeze

– As we reported, Rey Mysterio’s first match back was on Thursday night in Guadalajara as he teamed with Sin Cara to defeat Alberto Del Rio and Wade Barrett. It was noted by fans in attendance that while Rey carried most of the match for his team, you could still see how he was trying to protect his knee. Rey is expected to return to WWE TV next week.

– WWE NXT trainer Billy Gunn worked Friday night’s NXT live event in Daytona as the special referee for the main event. He turned on Sami Zayn, allowing Bo Dallas to retain the NXT Title.

– NXT star Tyler Breeze worked Friday night’s WWE live event in Knoxville, Tennessee. He lost to Justin Gabriel. Breeze cut a heel promo before the match but was met with “WHAT!” chants from the fans.

Low Attendance At WWE Event In Philly (Photo), Title Match On NXT

– Fans in attendance for Sunday’s WWE live event in Philadelphia noted that the arena was barely 40% full with nobody sitting in the upper level. One fan sent word that it was the lowest attended WWE event in Philadelphia he’s ever seen. Here’s a photo of the arena just 15 minutes before the show began:

Latest On Reports Of WWE Cutting Live Events Costs, Zayn vs. Bo

– It was recently reported that all non-essential WWE talents, such as stars like Vickie Guerrero or Zeb Colter, would no longer be working WWE live events due to cost-cutting. It’s worth noting that Vickie has been on the road with WWE this weekend but it appears Zeb has not.

– Sami Zayn vs. Bo Dallas for the WWE NXT Title will take place at the October 3rd NXT live event in Tampa.

WWE Release Three Developmental Talents

WWE has released three developmental talents earlier this morning.

Jake Carter, who is the son of former WWE Superstar Vader, was one of the talents released. Carter was signed back in 2011 and last appeared in NXT in January.

Luther Ward, who was just signed last month worked overseas under the name OMEN, has also been released.

Malik Omari, who was signed earlier this year, was released from the organization.

– The current storyline between the Rhodes family continued at tonight’s WWE NXT tapings. Triple H came out and announced that he had relieved Dusty Rhodes of his duties as the NXT Commissioner and immediately announced JBL as the new General Manager of NXT.

– Kassius Ohno made his in-ring return at tonight’s NXT tapings after being absent for the past couple of tapings. According to our correspondents, Ohno looked to be “better than ever”.

As We reported, Kassius Ohno had heat in WWE developmental and was pulled from NXT TV tapings because officials wanted him to improve his physique. Ohno was also removed from the NXT TV intro
